Crocodile Rock II was a Groovy Success!
St. Augustine, FL – Polyester, afros and 70’s celebrity sightings were all the rage during the 2nd Annual Crocodile Rock, a 70’s themed fundraiser for EPIC Community Services held at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. More than 250 people attended the event which included live music by Cloud 9, dinner catered by the restaurants of the St. Augustine Independent Restaurant Association, live shows from the Vinyl Idol Contestants, 70’s themed contests and more.
This year’s winner of the Vinyl Idol contest was The Bailey Group, who performed Barry Manilow’s ‘Copacabana’. The team consisted of John Reardon, Beth O’Neill, Anne Wiegand, Charles Myers, Mark Bailey Jr., Lori Roemmich, Donna Fogle, Yvonne Crawford and Sandy Combariza. Winners of the Best Dressed Contest were Bill Abare and Dawn Canan and the Celebrity Look-Alike Contest was won by “Sonny & Cher” aka Matthew Robison and Kerri Kagle.
